Hawai’i Forest Industry Association Hosts Koa Symposium Nov.16-17

The Hawai’i Forest Industry Association will be hosting the “Growing  Koa in Hawai‘i Nei” Symposium  on November 16th & 17th, 2012.

The Key Note Speaker will be Charles Michler, Director of the Tropical Hardwood Tree Improvement and Regeneration Center.

WAFWA Summer Conference July 20-25, 2012 Hawai’i Island

The Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and the Division of Forestry & Wildlife Hawai’i (DOFAW) will hold their 2012 Conference at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, Hawai’i from July 20-25, 2012. Hosted by the Department of Land and Natural Resources and DOFAW. Optional activities include visits to Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge and Pu’u Wa’awa’a Summit. Here’s the link..
